Walnut Grove, Minnesota - Visit Dugout site, see Pa's bell, and tour the Walnut Grove Museum. We'll enjoy an evening here at the "Wilder Pageant."
De Smet, South Dakota- Tour the Surveyors' House and the home of Pa and Ma Ingalls (now a museum). With the cottonwoods in the background, we'll enjoy the evening pageant, "Little Town on the Prairie". We'll stop at the
De Smet Cemetery and Almanzo's tree claim north of town. All of us will enjoy seeing places in De Smet that were important to Laura. Lots of pioneer activities will be experienced at the Ingalls Homestead. This town and area provided the setting for five of Laura's books.
Pepin, Wisconsin - Visit the replica cabin at Laura's birthplace and location of her first book,
Little House in the Big Woods. See the
Laura Ingalls Wilder Park, Depot Museum; and Pepin Museum. We'll stop at Lake Pepin, and see Anna Barry's home and gravesite. (She was Laura's first teacher.)
Spring Valley, Minnesota - Visit the church that Almanzo, Laura, and Rose attended while living here in 1890-91. The church is now a museum. See the original Wilder barn (still standing). We'll drive along Main Street, where Royal Wilder once had his Variety Stores. .
Burr Oak, Iowa - Tour the historic Masters Hotel. The Ingalls helped the Steadmans run this hotel in 1876-1877. We'll visit an early 1900s Bank Building, which is now a beautiful Gift Shop.

The Caravan Tour will have a group of vehicles traveling together. Travel in your own vehicle with family or friends. Little House Site Tours will plan the routes, lodgings, restaurant stops, and site visits. Two picnics will be provided by Little House Site Tours.
